How to achieve a successful Spanish class and positive ongoing learning process?

- Mutual respect, we both come from different cultures, and it is perfectly normal “to get lost in translation”; let´s promote a positive behavior and constructive class being patient and assertive to each other.
- Teamwork, I can only help you to succeed if you help me to achieve your goals. You must compromise to the learning process.
- Transparency and cooperation, you tell me how you feel about the classes and learning process. Your guidelines and feedback on classes will help me to adjust the lessons to your needs and improve my services to you.

- Evaluation, continuous observation and review of your progress. Analyses of the strengths and weaknesses using a range of methods to best meet your learning needs.
Student's insight
- Expectation, language learning is life-long processes, respect yourself and learn according to your time. Controlling your expectation will prevent frustration and will also help both of us to find and apply the best teaching style for the learning context.
- Patient, language learning is not a straight and fast road, there are lots of curves in the process, so laugh at yourself and learn from your mistakes.
- Self-motivate and set own learning goals: set small targets and rewards for your achievements such as good result of lessons and activities, increasing vocabulary, understanding a difficult topic (grammar, verbs) to motivate you and promote a positive ongoing learning process.
- Constancy and determination, you can only learn Spanish, if you live the language: Speak, Listen, Write and Read in Spanish!
- Compromise and self-discipline, dedicate time and efforts such as planning periods of study or informal learning: listen to radio, podcast; watch movies, series, television: read newspapers, books and magazines, but the most important of all you must live the process of learning as a hobby and with joy!
- Positive think, set your mind free of fears and self-conscious and change the chip from “obligation” (I must) into "to have fun” (I want).
- Self-evaluation, develop strategies for independent learning. This will allow you to engage in reflective practice and introduce to self-study methods that can foster in a structured and progressive way of learning.
- Learn to manage your time and resources adequately by setting up a plan and own learning strategy.

If, in exceptional circumstances, I do not answer your complaint to your satisfaction, you have the right to terminate our agreement.
